Grow all the food you need in just one 4 x 4' square! Learn the gardening method that uses 20% of the space, 10% of the water and 2% of the work of conventional gardening. Suitable for all levels of gardening experience from complete beginner to backyard farmer, this class will cover the basics of the Square Foot Gardening method invented by a civil engineer over 30 years ago. At the end of this class you will be able to plan, build and grow your own Square Foot Garden starting with seeds through to harvest. The class will take place in the private meeting space at Emma's Cafe in Stow, where participants also have the option to order off the Emma's Cafe menu to enjoy during the class.

About the instructor: Amber Pacheco is a certified Square Foot Gardening instructor who has been practicing the method for 7 years. When she is not commuting to her full time job or spending time with her two young children, she keeps busy building a suburban micro-farm in Maynard, MA.
